Details
Menahel is a fully comprehensive multi-user charity contact, membership and subscription system and can run on a server or a peer-to-peer PC network. It is an advanced filing system that keeps records of members other individuals, attaches them to functions and organisations while keeping tight control on their addresses, contact numbers and geographical districts. The membership record holds details of membership type and other family billing details, physical and email addresses, telephone numbers, Gift Aid status plus various further markers.
Each entry contains anniversaries, activities, specialities, sub-committees, and other required information. Individuals can be easily mailed, emailed or listed according to any combination of these categories.
Billing or Financial Reminders can be done automatically according to the individual parameters of each member, and Bills and Reminders are printed or reprinted at will. The system records the bills; cash, cheques or CAF cheques received are keyed in, and full listings are available of day-books, analyses, debtors, audit-trails, Gift-Aid due and other reports as required. Standing Orders are posted automatically. Similarly a Direct Debit file can be produced for sending to your bank. Billing parameters can include up to 10 different types of charges, varying levels of Membership, privilege or status charges, as well as Pledges and Donations.
A full debtor’s ledger is provided with controls. For accounting purposes the system can accept Excel or similar spreadsheets containing bank payments and totals are produced for entry into the General Accounting System. The system accumulates totals by Bank Account, Reserved Finds by Campaign and so on.
Income tax Gift-Aid is provided for and the Income Tax repayment claim schedule can be produced automatically. Gift-Aid can be collected on various membership subscriptions and also on any donations and gifts made by members.
After each batch of receipts is keyed in the system automatically generates Thank you letters and letters requesting signature on Gift Aid forms.
Integral with the software is a powerful reporting program allowing the user to run any of the 60 plus reports supplied. It is also possible to modify data selections. Print previews are available of all reports.
